Dr. Lily Golden presented her book "My Long Journey Home" to the American Center's patrons. Dr. Golden taught history and art both in the U.S. and in Russia. After graduating from the Moscow State University, she received her doctorate degree from the Academy of Science in the Soviet Union. For more than three decades Dr. Golden served as Senior Researcher in the Institute of African Studies in Moscow. In her book Dr. Golden tries to answer the questions what culture - African, European or American - is dominating in her personality.
